Some  theories that claim that ideas use human bodies to spread virally, and that people are simply carriers, or nodes that allow  ideas to hybridise. The perception of  individualness could be the result of illusions of self-management, which are totally influenced  by being with others. Therefore, a self-portrait must necessarily be a portrait of others, a process of intentional de-identity. The reflected  subject's unease arises from the revelation of being just one more among many.
